Every year September 5th is celebrated as Teacher’s Day, as a mark of gratitude to the contribution made by teachers to the society. In the school Teacher’s Day was celebrated on September 5th during the morning assembly.
The programme began with a Payer Song and a short Prayer service led by Sharon D Souza. Joylin Mathias spoke on the great personality – Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Valine Noronha expressed her views on the role of a Teacher.
In his message the Principal told the student the best gift the teacher wishes from you is that you be a good human person. He thanked all the teachers and non-teaching staff for their hard work and dedication. Students honoured the teacher with a rose. Floral tributes were paid to the portraits of St.Mother Theresa and Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
The students made the stage colourful and alive with their wonderful dances and skit. Ramona Mathias welcomed the gathering. Arrel Lobo compered the programme and Sajan proposed the vote of thanks.
