Heral Hazel D’Souza honoured during Don Bosco Shirva High School Students Annual
Miss Heral Hazel D’Souza was felicitated during Annual Celebration of Don Bosco English Medium School, High School on Tuesday, 29 th November 2017. She was honoured for her excellent academic records i.e. for being achieved 1 st rank in SSLC (Don Bosco) and 5 th Rank in Udupi District Level for the academic year 2016-17. She was felicitated with a shawl, a fruit basket, a flower bouquet and a memento by the honorary guests on dais, namely Rev. Fr. Stany Tauro (Correspondent), Rev. Fr. Mahesh D’Souza (Principal), Mr. Wilson Rodrigues (Jilla Panchayat Member, Udupi), Dr. Arun Hegde (Sr. Vet. Officer, Shirva). Also present on the dais were Mr. Wilson D’Souza (VP Parish Pastoral Council), Mr. Julian Rodrigues (Management Committee), Ms. Leena Machado (Secretary, Parish Pastoral Council), Mr. Melwyn Aranha (18 Commission, Udupi Diocese), Mr. Melwyn D’Souza (Panchayat Member, Shirva), Miss. Ameena (SPL, Don Bosco).
Also on the occasion Mr. Wilson Rodrigues (Jilla Panchayat Member, Udupi) and Dr. Arun Hegde (Senior Veterinary Officer, Shirva) were also felicitated for their exemplary services for the society. They were honoured with shawls, fruit basket, garlands and a flower bouquet and a memento each. Dr. Arun Hedge spoke on the occasion and grateful for Don Bosco English Medium School for recognising and honouring him on the auspicious occasion. He wished all the success to the school and promised his support whatever capacity he can.

Earlier Miss. Ameena accorded a warm welcome to all the dignitaries on the dais. Mr. Wilson Rodrigues distributed the prizes for students who had excelled in academic and sports events. Devin Prince D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks.

The students of High school enthralled the audience with presentation of amazing dances. The MCs of the day Master Mohammed Suhail and Miss. Shirley Menezes did a wonderful job and presented the program wonderfully.
