“We need not be afraid of the future, for the future will be in our own hands.” Very true, the future of India’s destiny lies in these tender small hands and hearts. At a young age to inculcate the patriotic feeling the K.G section celebrated Independence Day on August 14th 2017.
The Principal Rev. Fr. Mahesh D Souza was the Chief Guest. Invoking god’s blessing was a prayer song sung by the pure in hearts tiny tots. Ziyanna of U.K.G welcomed the gathering. Patriotic dances and songs were performed by the Kindergarten students. The various national symbols were displayed with a brief description by the students. The centre of attraction of the day was Reyon D Souza who played the role of Mahatma Gandhi and delivered the message of Independence Day. The Principal Rev. Fr. Mahesh D Souza and senior teacher Mrs. Irine Rodrigues spoke on the significance of Independence Day. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Ashelle Fernandes. Prishelle D Souza compered the programme. The programme concluded with the national Anthem. Sweets were distributed to the students.
