Palm Impression Activity

“Art has the role in education of helping children become like themselves instead of more like everyone else”

This month the tiny tots had Palm impression activity there they dipped their tiny hands in the colours and imprinted them on the chart. The joy on their face to see their Palm impression was something ineffable.

Palm print activity helps the kids to learn how the colours work and how to use the wet colours. This activity is a good exercise for their sensory integration as sense of hearing ,touching and seeing are used . It enables them to improve fine motor skills , which strengthens their fingers and hand muscles. It promotes the social skills of the child as it learns to share paints , to wait for its turn and to work in a group. This also stimulates the creativity and imagination of the child.
