Parent Teacher Interface

“Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectations”.

To achieve better, qualitative education a Parent Teacher interface was held separately for each class from 27th June to 5th July 2017. One session was held in the morning and the other in the evening, a total of 12 meetings from LKG to Class 10. Students from the respective classes sang the Prayer Song. The class teacher welcomed the gathering.

The Principal, Rev. Fr Mahesh D’ Souza briefed the parents regarding the latest infra structure and facility in the school building, new exam pattern of the CBSE from class 1st to 7th, class 8, 9, 10 will follow the CCE method, celebrations of important days and festivals, uniform, parents and students ID Card, bus fees, school fees, speaking of English, unnecessary leave for students. Parents can meet the teachers on second Saturday of the month, if urgent then after 4 o’clock in the evening. Class 10 is not involved in ECA; they will have special classes in the October holidays. The portion will be completed by December last year’s result was good this year we want it better still and each child should get 70% above. Keep a check on the use of mobiles and computers used by your child, once in a week check their school bags. A new entrance for the school buses will be ready soon.

The correspondent Very Rev. Fr Stany Tauro appreciated the selfless work and dedication of the Principal Fr Mahesh D’Souza for the development of the school and the affiliation work for the CBSE syllabus. He also congratulated and thanked the parents for their co-operation and choosing Don Bosco for the education of their child. Parents too appreciated the achievements and progress of the school. Some valuable suggestions were given by the parents for the further progress.

The Vice-president of the Parish Pastoral Council, Mr Wilson D’ Souza, Secretary Mrs Leena Machado and members of the Managing Committee attended the meetings. The Class Teacher proposed the Vote of Thanks.
