Annual school day of Primary and High school was grandly celebrated on the 28th and 29th of November at the school campus.
On 28th the programme commenced with a prayer song sung by the High school choir .The Presidnt of the programme was the Correspondent Very Rev. Fr. Denis D’sa and the Chief Guest of the day was a High profile personality Dr. Vincent Alva,Principal of Milagres College, Kallianpur. Being an eduationist he had an apt message to the students as well as the audience. He emphasised that every child is a pearl. School is the temple of knowledge. No religion teaches intolerance or hatred,let religion be a source to imbibe good values and teach them being human which is the true religion. He congratulated them for selecting Don Bosco for the education of their children. He requested the parents to create’ a talk with the child environment at home.
The Correspondent congratulated the Principal for steering the ship in the right direction and also the staff. He appreciated the parents for sending their children to Don Bosco Quality education is imparted along with all round development of thechild. He urged the parents to talk to the child.
The Principal Rev.Fr. Mahesh D’souza presented the Annual School Report.The Chief Guest was felicilated with a shawl, head gear, fruits and a memento. Proficiency prizes to meritorious students and athletes were given certificates and trophies. Arnika M. Rai welcomed the gathering, Ayesha Sheik introduced the Guest. The Vote of thanks was proposed by Rolwyn Fernandes, Winston Fernandes and Preemal Noronha compered the programe.
