“Constitution Day – Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” was observed in Don Bosco English Medium School, Shirva on 26th November, 2021. The constitution values were upheld to the students in the morning school assembly. The programme began with prayer song sung by the school students, followed by the reading of Preamble of Indian Constitution by college student pupil leader Master Adrin Leon Alva and students were asked to recite the same. The students of Grade 9 presented Six Fundamental Rights granted to the citizen of India in the constitution and Mrs. Philomena Barboza, Social Science teacher awakened students to follow the Fundamental Duties in the constitution.

There was roll play by Master Ajay Dsouza who enacted as Dr. B. R Ambedkar to explain life history of Ambedkar and the process of framing the constitution. The principal Ms. Myrtle L F Lewis called upon the students to uphold the values of constitution and respect the nation. The programme ended with national anthem. Master Anson Nazareth compeered the programme.
