We offer a range of extra-curricular activities, including Scouts, Guides, Cubs, Bulbuls, and various clubs that cater to different interests and aptitudes. Sports and games are emphasized to build physical and mental endurance. Literary and cultural competitions are organized annually to unearth and encourage latent talents. Saturday being the bagless day, students engage in extra curricular activities and learn various skill development items.

Key Board
Our school offers an engaging and enriching keyboard program as part of our extracurricular activities. The keyboard class is designed for students of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players, fostering both creativity and technical proficiency.
Students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of musical genres, including classical, contemporary, and popular music. Through this program, participants will develop essential skills such as rhythm, coordination, sight-reading, and music theory.

Guitar
The Guitar programme at our school offers students a dynamic platform to explore their musical talents and passion for playing the guitar. This extracurricular activity is designed to nurture creativity, enhance musical skills, and foster teamwork. Open to beginners and experienced players alike, this programme provides lessons on chords, strumming patterns, and popular songs while encouraging original compositions and live performances.

Bharathanatyam
Bharatanatyam, one of the oldest and most graceful forms of classical Indian dance, is offered as an exciting extracurricular activity at our school. This program introduces students to the rich cultural heritage of India while providing a platform for creative expression and physical discipline.
Students learn the intricate footwork, expressive hand gestures (mudras), and storytelling techniques that define Bharatanatyam. The curriculum focuses on building balance, flexibility, rhythm, and an understanding of Indian classical music. Through regular practice, students not only enhance their physical abilities but also develop a deeper appreciation for the art form’s spiritual and cultural significance.
Our Bharatanatyam program includes both solo and group performances, allowing students to showcase their skills at school events and cultural festivals. With guidance from experienced instructors, participants also gain confidence and poise, all while celebrating the beauty of this timeless dance tradition.
Stitching
Stitching and embroidery are ancient art forms that involve decorating fabric using needle and thread. These techniques have been used for centuries to create beautiful and intricate designs on clothing, home decor, and other textiles.
With stitching and embroidery, we can express our creativity, relax, and produce unique and personalized items. From delicate embroidery to bold stitching, these art forms offer endless possibilities for artistic expression.
The stitching and embroidery class was a resounding success which ran in the year 2024-25 was a resounding success. Under the expert guidance of instructor Ms. Sunitha Menezes , 15 students learned various stitching and embroidery techniques, including running stitch, backstitch, and satin stitch. Throughout the class, students worked on personalized embroidery projects, creating beautiful pieces such as decorative pillowcases, embroidered patches, and customized tote bags. The class was interactive and fun, with students enjoying the relaxed and supportive learning environment. By the end of the class, students had not only gained a solid understanding of stitching and embroidery techniques but had also developed their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity. Overall, the class was a wonderful experience, and students left with a newfound appreciation for the art of stitching and embroidery.





Home Science
The Home Science Extra-Curricular Activity (ECA) had a participation of 58 students during the academic year 2024-25. Through this ECA, students acquired hands-on experience in basic cooking ideas and learned the importance of efficient kitchen storage, and organization. This enabled them to develop essential life skills, including self-sufficiency in food preparation, knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene, understanding of meal planning and nutrition, and enhanced creativity and confidence in cooking.
They had the opportunity to prepare several recipes, exploring various cuisines and cooking techniques. Additionally, an external chef was invited to conduct a special cooking session, sharing expert tips and techniques with the students.
The ECA culminated in a grand finale, where students showcased their culinary skills in the final class of the academic year. The “Cooking test and Exhibition” featured a diverse array of cuisines, with students proudly presenting their creations, demonstrating their mastery of cooking techniques and creative expression.
Karate
Karate is an exciting and empowering extracurricular activity offered at our school, focusing on physical fitness, mental discipline, and self- defence skills. Through structured training, students learn the traditional martial art of Karate, which helps develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and focus.
The Karate program teaches students essential techniques such as strikes, blocks, stances, and kata (forms), while also emphasizing respect, perseverance, and self-control. Participants build physical endurance while improving their ability to concentrate and handle challenges both inside and outside the dojo.
Karate encourages students to set personal goals, work diligently to achieve them, and develop a sense of confidence and resilience. Whether training for fitness, self – defense, or personal growth, students gain important life skills such as goal-setting, respect for others, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
This dynamic and rewarding activity fosters teamwork and discipline, while also providing a great outlet for energy and stress relief.


Taekwondo
Taekwondo is an exciting and dynamic extracurricular activity offered at our school, focused on developing both physical and mental strength through the practice of this traditional Korean martial art. This discipline teaches students valuable self-defense techniques while promoting fitness, agility, and flexibility.
The Taekwondo program at our school emphasizes the importance of balance, coordination, and precision, helping students to improve their overall physical condition. Students learn powerful kicks, strikes, blocks, and forms (known as “patterns”), along with the essential values of respect, perseverance, and self-control.
Taekwondo is more than just a martial art; it is a pathway to building confidence, mental focus, and resilience. Through regular training, students enhance their ability to set and achieve goals, develop leadership skills, and work collaboratively with others in a supportive environment.

The Skating at our school offers students an exhilarating experience that combines fitness, balance, and fun. Open to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced skaters, it provides structured training sessions focused on mastering techniques, enhancing agility, and fostering sportsmanship.
With guidance from professional coaches, students learn various skating styles, including speed skating and artistic skating, while improving their endurance and coordination. It regularly participates in inter-school competitions and demonstrations, encouraging students to challenge themselves and achieve new milestones. Skating builds resilience, discipline, and a love for outdoor activity, making it an exciting and rewarding extracurricular choice.
