'Nothing is impossible if there is a will to achieve'

The Prize Distribution Program was held on 11th March 2022 in School quadrangle. Due to the pandemic the students had less of opportunities for academic activities and to exhibit their talents. But the present academic year gave them a chance to do the same. Therefore a program was organised to recognize the abilities of our students from kindergarten to Grade 11, in various curricular and Co curricular activities. The program was presided by the Correspondent very Rev. Fr. Denis Dsa, the Principal Ms Myrtle L.F. Lewis, Vice Principal Mrs. Irene Cardoza, together with School management committee members Mr.MelwinAranha, Mrs.Leena Machado, Mr.MelwinDsouza and Mrs JyothiDsouza. The welcome address was given by the Principal Ms Myrtle L.F. Lewis.

In his Presidential address the Correspondent congratulated all the prize winners and called upon those who have lost in the competitions not to lose heart. He asked them to continue the spirit of competition and never to give up and also to have the magnanimity to celebrate the victory even of our enemies. He concluded his message by giving a clarion call to the staff and the students to build bridges of love and not walls of hatred.

The Correspondent and the school management committee members handed over the certificates and prize- coupons to the students who had excelled in academics, Co curricular and sports events which were held throughout the academic session 2021-22. The entire program was compered by AdrinaMendonca of grade 10. The teachers various sections read out the prize list of the students. Mrs.SavitaShettigar proposed the vote of thanks. The book exhibition was organized by the school inaugurated by the correspondent Rev. Fr. Denis Dsa and the Principal The students after receiving the prize coupons could exchange their coupons and get the books of their choice. This was a gesture from the school to encourage and instil reading habits among the students. This opportunity was fully utilized by the students with the support of their parents.
