Elected the President, secretary for the Sangha and Created 4 groups namely:
- Masthi, 2. Kuvempu, 3. Da.Ra.Bendre & 4. Karantha
In the month of June; Conducted a quiz competition amongst above 4 groups and rewarded the winners.
In the month of July; Introduced the poets of Karnataka and presented the video related to ‘Kavishaila’, House of Kuvempu . Enhanced knowledge on State Anthem: Teaching the song through the help of video and karaoke music and conducted Group competition on State Anthem Topic.
In the month of August; Discussed about the proverbs in the group discussion. Conducted “Ashubhashana – Pick & speak” competions related Proverbs and had a discussion on the topic of proverbs. “Ashu Kavitha” Writing the short poem was conducted in the group meeting and the best poem writer was appreciated.
In the month of September; “Folk songs” was conducted. Students participated in the group song in their respective group.Also conducted “Folk games”: Introducing the different types of folk games in the ground. Carried out debate consisting of 5 members in each team having a time duration of 4-5 minutes. Students had a discussion on the following topics;
- ದೇಶದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆಗಳ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆಯೇ?
- ಅವಿಭಕ್ತ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಜೀವನ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೋ ?ವಿಭಕ್ತ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಜೀವನ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೋ ?
- ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವು ಯುವ ಜನರ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆಯೇ ?
In the month of October; enhanced the knowledge on Patriotic songs. Carried out Group songs: Students actively participated in the group song activity.
In the month of November; Story writing activity was conducted. Students wrote stories according to the given clue in the group meeting; Students performed dances in the Kannada week during the school assembly.
In the month of December; Quiz was conducted relating to the culture of Karnataka.
In the month of January; Anthakshari was conducted in Kannada: Competitions were conducted between the groups. Dhum Shararath in Kannada was conducted.
