Fruit Salad Day Celebration at Don Bosco Kindergarten

On September 24th, 2025 the Kindergarten section of Don Bosco school celebrated Fruit Salad Day with great enthusiasm. The day was filled with fun and learning as the little ones explored the colorful and healthy world of fruits. Each child brought along their favourite fruit, proudly sharing it with their classmates. Teachers guided the children in identifying the names, colors, tastes and textures of different fruits, while also highlighting their nutritional benefits. The students eagerly learned how to wash and cut fruits and together they prepared a delicious and refreshing fruit salad.The highlight of the day was the presence of our esteemed guests, Rev. Fr. Anil Rodrigues and Rev. Fr. Roshan D Souza, who encouraged the children to develop healthy eating habits from a young age. Their warm words of blessing made the celebration even more memorable.The students joyfully ended their last day of the first term with this delightful fruit salad–making activity, which not only enhanced their knowledge about fruits but also instilled in them the value of sharing and the joy of eating healthy food. It was indeed a cheerful and fruitful conclusion to the first term for our tiny tots.
