Deepavali Celebration

The spirit of festivity and joy filled the air as the students of Don Bosco Playschool and Kindergarten celebrated Deepavali with great enthusiasm and delight. The celebration began with a prayer song, followed by lighting of the lamp by the Principal and the teachers, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and wisdom over ignorance. Students from each class presented lively dance performances to melodious Deepavali songs, spreading cheer and capturing the true essence of the festival. Dressed in colourful traditional attire, the little ones filled the celebration with radiance and happiness. The Principal of the school Rev. Fr. Rolwyn Joy Aranha, in his inspiring message – encouraged the children to illuminate the world around them with their kindness, good manners and moral values — just as the diyas brighten homes during Deepavali. His words reminded that true celebration lies in sharing light, love and positivity with others. The celebration concluded on a joyful note, leaving the atmosphere glowing with smiles, laughter and festive spirit.
