Farewell Ceremony of Mrs Juliet Gretta Noronha

Don Bosco English Medium School, Shirva, organized a heartfelt Adios Programme on 8th October 2025 in the school auditorium to bid farewell to Mrs. Juliet Gretta Noronha, who rendered 31 years of dedicated and selfless service in the institution.
The programme commenced with the escorting of the Correspondent Rev. Dr. Leslie Clifford D’Souza, Principal, Vice Principal, Vice president of the Parish Pastoral Council Mr Melwyn Aranha, PTA president Mrs Anitha Dsouza, Mrs. Juliet Gretta Noronha to the stage. The school choir invoked God’s blessings with a melodious prayer song, setting a serene tone for the occasion.
The Vice Principal, Mrs Irine Cardoza extended a warm welcome to the gathering and expressed deep appreciation for Mrs. Juliet Gretta’s valuable contribution to the school over the years. On behalf of the students of Vriddhi Shetty and Raveen R of Grade-10th shared their heartfelt experiences and thanked Ma’am for her love, care and kind nature. Ms. Juliet Sequeira, representing the staff, shared her fond memories and heartfelt words of gratitude for the outgoing teacher. A farewell song by the staff added an emotional touch to the event.
As a mark of respect and appreciation, Mrs. Zarina Lasrado read the Scroll of Honour, after which Mrs. Juliet Gretta was felicitated with a shawl, flowers, fruits, and a memento. In her farewell address, Mrs. Juliet Gretta Noronha reminisced about her journey at Don Bosco, expressing her gratitude to the management, colleagues, students, and parents for their support and love.
Principal, Rolwyn Joy Aranha expressed his gratitude to Mrs Juliet Gretta Noronha for her 31 years of commendable service. He stated that she had left an indelible mark in the hearts of students and staff alike. Her long journey was incredible and her jovial nature, creativity, confidence and culinary skills were truly admirable.
Rev. Dr. Leslie Clifford D’Souza, the Correspondent, appreciated Mrs. Juliet’s long years of committed service and wished her a happy and peaceful retired life. Heartfelt wishes were also shared by the guests, relatives, staff, and students, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Rachel Fernandes, followed by a cultural programme by the students. A fellowship lunch graciously hosted by Mrs. Juliet Gretta Noronha.
The day was a beautiful celebration of gratitude, love, and fond memories — a fitting tribute to a teacher who touched many hearts with her dedication and grace.
