Secondary Colours Day Celebration in Don Bosco Kindergarten
The Kindergarten section of Don Bosco English Medium School celebrated Secondary Colours Day on June 22nd, 2026 with great enthusiasm and vibrant energy, creating a joyful and meaningful learning experience for the young learners. The celebration aimed to help children understand the concept of secondary colours and appreciate the beauty that emerges through creativity and togetherness.
The tiny tots arrived beautifully dressed in colourful attire, adding brightness and excitement to the campus. The program featured delightful performances by the children, including lively dances and an engaging Show and Tell activity, where students confidently introduced and spoke about objects representing different colours. Through the demonstration of colour mixing, children observed how combining two primary colours creates secondary colours. This hands-on activity sparked curiosity and excitement among the students and made learning both interactive and enjoyable. Addressing the tiny tots, the Guest of the Day, Rev. Fr. Anil Rodrigues, beautifully connected the concept of colours with life values. He explained that just as two primary colours come together to create a new and brighter secondary colour, children too should learn to mingle with everyone, build friendships and grow into individuals who spread positivity and shine brightly in society. He appreciated the efforts and dedication of the teachers in organizing such a creative and enriching program for the young learners. The celebration concluded on a cheerful note, leaving the children with colourful memories and a deeper understanding that learning becomes more meaningful when combined with joy, creativity and togetherness.
