Onam Celebration at Don Bosco Playschool and Kindergarten

The Playschool and Kindergarten section of Don Bosco English Medium School, Shirva, celebrated the vibrant festival of Onam with great joy, enthusiasm and cultural splendour. The celebration provided the little ones with a wonderful opportunity to learn about the rich traditions of Kerala while imbibing the values of love, sharing and kindness associated with the festival. The program commenced with a prayer song, setting a serene and auspicious tone for the celebration. The young performers then presented a delightful array of cultural programs, comprising melodious songs, energetic dances and a captivating skit depicting the story of King Mahabali. Their confident performances, cheerful expressions and enthusiastic participation brought the spirit of Onam alive and enthralled the audience.The Guest of the Day, Mrs. Anitha Maria Dsouza, congratulated the children and teachers for their wonderful performances. In her message, she highlighted the noble qualities of King Mahabali and encouraged the children to follow his example by cultivating a spirit of sharing and caring, thus spread happiness and extend kindness to everyone around them. The celebration concluded on a joyful note, leaving the children with cherished memories and a meaningful lesson that the true spirit of Onam lies in sharing, caring, kindness and togetherness.
