The vibrant spirit of devotion and festivity filled the campus as the students of Don Bosco Playschool and Kindergarten celebrated Sri Krishna Janmashtami with great enthusiasm. Dressed as little Krishnas and Radhas, the children brought alive the charm and innocence of the festival through their colourful attire and captivating smiles. The celebration began with a series of delightful cultural performances, including devotional songs, graceful dances and short skits depicting episodes from Lord Krishna’s life. The tiny tots mesmerized the audience with their innocence, confidence and lively expressions, truly capturing the essence of the day. We were honoured by the gracious presence of Rev. Fr. Roshan Dsouza – Assistant Parish Priest of Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva, who appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers in presenting such a well-coordinated and meaningful program. He applauded the children’s confidence and creativity, encouraging them to continue nurturing the values of love, joy and devotion in their lives. A highlight of the day was the breaking of ‘Dahi Handi’, which drew laughter, cheers and applause from all the students. The celebration beautifully blended the cultural tradition with joyful participation, creating memories that will be cherished by our little learners.
