CAREER GUIDANCE – CLASS X

“One way to keep momentum going is to have constantly greater goals.”
To enable to have a successful career, one must be able to get the proper guidance for one’s career. An individual when they are on the threshold of their studies finds it difficult to choose their career. At this juncture the school provides with the proper information, regarding their future course of studies. The students of class 10 had a very valuable session on Career Guidance by a very well-known resource person Mr.Ronald Pinto, faculty in St.Aloysious College and Director for association for individual development for teachers, parents and students. The important areas covered by him were
i) after class 10th what next ii)how to face examination iii) Etiquette
He emphasized that one has to discover its aptitude from class 8th. He gave informationabout the various streams and what career one can get by attaining those degrees.
How to study : a) Listening, b) Reading (doing every day’s work) c) Writing and learning d) Analyzing (why,how,what, when, etc) e) Applying
Besides educational excellence one must also have social etiquette to be acceptable and respected in the society. Avni Ferrao and Rikita Saldanha from the students side and from parents Mr.Anil D’Souza and Mrs.Sunitha D Souza expressed their views regarding the session.
