Grandparents Day Celebration

“Let’s give thanks to the grandparents who have shaped us with their prayers, stories and unconditional love”.

Don Bosco Kindergarten school celebrated Grandparents Day on August 31st, 2024. The program began with the invocation hymn sung by the students of UKG. The Correspondent V. Rev. Fr. Leslie Clifford Dsouza, Chief Guest of the Day Prof. Ronald Moras and the Principal Rev. Fr. Rolwyn Joy Aranha graced Grandparents Day Celebration the occasion. The students of UKG welcomed the gathering. The Principal Rev. Fr. Rolwyn Joy Aranha introduced the chief guest to the audience. The Chief Guest of the day Prof. Ronald Moras shared his hands on experience as a grandfather and urged the grandparents to see the beautiful side of the world through their grandchild’s perspective. In addition, he said that the present generation develop their personality through environment, education, experience and information. So it is the prime duty of every grandparent to educate the child to reason between right and wrong and to instill positive values in them.  The Correspondent V. Rev. Dr. Leslie Clifford Dsouza appreciated the grandparents for all the love they owe to the grandchildren. He expressed that along with the formal education of knowledge and wisdom, our school strives towards imparting value-based education and requested the grandparents to impart informal education to their grandchildren that is filled with values.  The little ones mesmerized their grandparents through their heart touching performances. The Grandparents were kept occupied through various games and winners were rewarded by their grandchildren. It was a day filled with joy and priceless memories to both grandparents and grandchildren.
