Parampara 2025 – A Traditional Walk Competition

The Kindergarten section of Don Bosco English Medium School celebrated Parampara 2025 – A Traditional Walk Competition with great enthusiasm and cultural splendour on 30th October 2025. The event was a vibrant display of India’s rich heritage, bringing together parents and children in a joyful celebration of tradition, unity and style. The program commenced with a soulful prayer dance presented by the faculty, invoking divine blessings for the success of the event. This was followed by a warm welcome address by the Principal Rev. Fr Rolwyn Joy Aranha, who welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of preserving and celebrating cultural values from an early age. The Correspondent, in his address, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming enthusiasm of both parents and students. He commended the teachers for their efforts in organizing such a culturally enriching program and remarked – “Our school strives to provide quality education rooted in values. We are proud to offer the best facilities and opportunities for the holistic development of every child”. The competition was conducted in two categories – Individual Walk (for students) and Duet Walk (for parents and children). The excitement and participation were evident in the air as both students and parents walked the stage with grace and confidence. Parents and children, dressed beautifully in traditional attire, added colour and charm to the occasion, making it a visual delight. The event was judged by Vidhushi Smt. Prarthana J and Mrs. Sulbha R. Bhat, both eminent personalities in the field of art, dance and music. Their presence and expert evaluation added great value to the competition. At the end of the event, beautiful trophies were presented to the winners, while each participant received an appreciation certificate, acknowledging their effort and enthusiasm. Mrs. Sneha Shetty introduced the judges of the competition and Mrs. Jyothi Lobo efficiently compered the program. The event concluded with applause and smiles all around, marking Parampara 2025 – a memorable celebration of tradition, togetherness and joy in the Kindergarten section.
