The Kindergarten section of Don Bosco School came alive with vibrant hues and cheerful laughter as the tiny tots celebrated Secondary Colours Day with immense joy and enthusiasm on June 25th, 2025. The day was especially dedicated to recognize and explore the beautiful secondary colours—green, orange and purple—which are formed by mixing the primary colours.
The little ones came dressed in bright shades of green, orange and purple, adding a delightful splash of colour to the day. Various fun-filled activities like colour mixing, painting and thumb Printing helped the children understand the concept of secondary colours through experiential learning.
The Guest of the Day Rev. Fr. Anil Rodrigues, Assistant Parish Priest of Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva warmly interacted with the young learners and beautifully conveyed the importance of unity, friendship and learning. He encouraged the children to be like secondary colours—created by the blending of two—by interacting with their peers, learning positive things from one another and never setting themselves apart.
The celebration proved to be both educational and entertaining, leaving the children with happy hearts and colourful memories. The school eagerly anticipates many more engaging and enriching experiences to nurture the young minds.
