Parent Orientation Program of Don Bosco Playschool 2026-27

Don Bosco Playschool organized a warm and meaningful Parent Orientation Program for the parents of newly admitted Playschool children who are set to begin their educational journey in the school on June 3, 2026. The program was thoughtfully conducted to welcome the parents into the Don Bosco family and to familiarize them with the school’s environment and approach to early childhood education. The program commenced on a prayerful note, invoking God’s blessings which was followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp, marking the commencement of a new chapter and reflecting the shared commitment to nurture young minds in an atmosphere of care, learning and growth. A presentation of the playschool activities was conducted by Mrs. Jyothi Lobo, offering parents an insight into the joyful learning experiences, age-appropriate activities and nurturing environment designed for the little learners.

Addressing the gathering, the Correspondent V. Rev. Fr. Charles Menezes encouraged and motivated the parents as they prepared to entrust their children to the school for the very first time. He emphasized that the early years of education play a vital role in shaping a child’s future and assured parents that Don Bosco Playschool strives to create a safe, joyful and value-based environment where every child can grow with confidence, curiosity and happiness.

The Principal Rev. Fr. Rolwyn Joy Aranha welcomed the new families into the portals of Don Bosco and acknowledged the emotions of parents and reassured them that their precious gems would be welcomed with love, care and individual attention. Parents were encouraged to maintain open communication and work in partnership with the school to support the holistic development of their children. The program was gracefully compered by Mrs. Shyona Dalmeida and words of gratitude proposed by Mrs. Janet Dias, thanking the management, staff and parents for their presence and cooperation. The orientation program served as a meaningful beginning to a shared journey of trust, learning and growth, laying a strong foundation for the children’s happy and memorable years at Don Bosco Playschool.
