Annual Sports Day

The Annual Sports Day of Don Bosco Kindergarten was held on November 9th, 2024 – a event designed to foster teamwork, physical fitness and the spirit of friendly competition among the youngest members of our school community. The day featured a series of engaging activities, encouraging the children to participate, celebrate their achievements and enjoy a sense of accomplishment. The President of the event V. Rev. Fr. Leslie Clifford Dsouza, Chief Guest Mrs. Jenevia Andrade, Alumnus and Sr. Quality Manager at Infosys Mangalore, the Principal Rev. Fr. Rolwyn Joy Aranha, Vice Principal Mrs. Irene Cardoza were escorted by the school band. The event commenced with a prayer song, followed by welcome speech by the Principal Rev. Fr. Rolwyn Joy Aranha. The School Sports flag was hoisted by the Correspondent V. Rev. Fr. Leslie Clifford Dsouza. The Chief Guest Mrs. Jenevia Andrade declared the Sports Day open by releasing balloons in the air. Disciplined and energetic march past by the students was the key attraction of the event. The Chief Guest recollected her memories as a student, appreciated the dynamic school band, disciplined school environment and dedicated instructors that have instilled a sense of passion, self-discipline and perseverance in her life. The Correspondent V. Rev. Fr. Leslie Clifford Dsouza applauded students’ efforts and urged the parents to create a supportive environment where children can grow, learn and have fun without the pressure of expectation. It was wonderful to see children’s excitement, smiles, and moments of victory, as well as the strong sense of community shared by the teachers, parents and children. Mrs. Priya Noronha compered the event and Mrs. Janet Dias proposed the vote of thanks.
