“You came and touched our hearts. Now you leave; it’s hard to see. But we wish you happy days and a successful life ahead.”
Every day has some importance, but the 9th of March 2019 was a much cherished and memorable day for the students of class 10th as they were given a formal Send-Off by the school. Each and every student was looking gorgeous and handsome. The program began with a prayer song by the students of class 9. Yushra welcomed the gathering. The reading from the Bible was read by Neil Lobo followed by the prayer of the faithful by the students. The Prayer service was led by Carol Alva.
Ginnel Quadras of class 9 shared her feelings about her senior school mates and wished them well. Students of class 9th sang a meaningful farewell song. Mohammed Mafaz and Ayesha Sahana of class 10th shared their beautiful memories of their Alma Mater. Sr Letisia in her message wished the students success and happiness. Certificates for Catechism and Value Education were given by the Correspondent. The top scorer in Value Education was Khatija, Avni Ferrao in Catechism. All the students were given memento by the Vice-President of the Parish Pastoral Council Mr. Wilson Dsouza. In his message the Correspondent said that today is a day of mixed feeling that of joy and sadness, but life has to go on moving. He narrated an incidentin the life of Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam where he is indebted to his mentor Fr. Patrao and shows his gratitude. He told the students to select good things in life, keep the name of the school high, and be grounded and humble, don’t get head weight. Remember failures are not the end of the door, face challenges, blessed and wished them good luck. The batch of 2018-19 presented a token of gratitude and love to the Correspondent and Principal. The vote of thanks was proposed by Rishal Mathias and the programme was compered by Garron Menezes.
