SCOUTS GUIDES RESIDENTIAL CAMP

“The main question of life is not “what can I get?” but what can I give?”
As Robert Baden Powell rightly said “A week of camp life is worth six month of Theoretical teaching in the class room”.To imbibe these values of sharing, caring and service. 2 days residential camp was organized for the Scouts, Guides, Bulbuls and cubs at Pragati Nagara on 24th and 25th March with Strength of 130 students. At the camp they had the flag ceremony, Naturestudy at Saalu Marada Thimmakka Park, Manipal, Camp Fire, all faith prayer, Blind game, preparing paper craft, collage, kite and greetings. These activities enabled them to help each other, work together and to understand certain hardships of life. During the camp Fire Mrs.Cecilia Lewis was the guest and in her message told what it is to be a Scout, Guides and wished them well. Mr. Vishwanath, Mr. Umesh, Mrs. Cynthia Periera, Mrs. Josephine Rebello, Mrs. Felcy Mascarenhas , Mrs. Anitha D Souza, Mrs. Ivin D’Souza and Mrs.Reshma Pinto, Ms. Rashmi K accompanied them and took care of them very lovingly.
