Club Closure

The closure of school clubs for the academic year 2024-25 was held on 01/03/2025, Saturday at Don Bosco English Medium School, Shirva. It was a memorable event that marked the successful completion of the various club activities. The event began with a solemn prayer by the school choir, setting a reflective and grateful tone for the gathering.
Chris Joel of Grade 7 led the programme with enthusiasm, introducing the various clubs that played a vital role in developing students skills and knowledge. Academic year 2024-25 included Eco Club, Health Club, Interact Club, History Club, Cyber Club, English Literary Club, Hindi Club, Kannada Club, Peace Club, YSM clubs to enrich the students knowledge. One student from each club shared their experiences, highlighting the activities conducted and the lessons learned through these activities throughout the year.
Following this, the Principal Rev. Fr Rolwyn Joy Aranha, officially declared the closure of the clubs for the academic year. In his address, the Principal emphasized how the clubs help in the development of inquisitive mind-set, creativity and curiosity, helping the students explore their individual talent s beyond academic.
During the event, the certificates were distributed to the students for their excellence in the Veda Handwriting Competition. 5 students from each class were distributed with the certificates. In addition, the students from Cubs, Bulbuls, Scouts and Guides were recognized for their outstanding performances by giving away the certificates.
The event concluded on a note of gratitude and encouragement, leaving students motivated to continue their journey of learning and self-discovery in the years ahead.
