Primary Section Annual Day

Don Bosco English Medium School, Primary Section, celebrated its Annual Day with immense zeal and enthusiasm on 26th November 2024. The event was a splendid showcase of creativity, talent, and achievements, seamlessly blending formal presentations with vibrant cultural performances. It was a joyous occasion that brought together students, parents, faculty, and distinguished guests, reflecting the collaborative spirit of the school community. 

The celebration commenced with a solemn invocation, seeking blessings for the day’s success, followed by a heartfelt welcome address that set the tone for the program. The formal segment included a comprehensive presentation of the Annual Report, which highlighted the remarkable academic and extracurricular accomplishments of the year. 

The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Leslie Clifford D’Souza, Correspondent of Don Bosco English Medium School and St. Mary’s Institutions; Mr. Heral Ivan Monis, Principal of St. Mary’s College, Shirva; Fr. Ronson Pinto, Assistant Parish Priest of Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva;  Mr. Melwyn Aranha, Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Council, Shirva; Mrs. Sowmya R, President of the Parent-Teacher Association; Rev. Fr. Rolwyn Joy Aranha, Principal of Don Bosco English Medium School; Mrs. Irene Cardoza, Vice Principal of the school; Ms. Sharon Corda, the CPL; and Ms. Varsha R, the SPL. 

The Chief Guest, in his inspiring address, emphasized the importance of believing in one’s potential, cultivating resilience and curiosity, and associating with people who nurture and value our abilities. His speech, enriched with an engaging anecdote, left a profound impact on the audience. 

In his presidential address, the Correspondent shared five powerful personality-building mantras, encouraging students to aim for excellence. He also lauded the Principal for his visionary leadership and relentless efforts in steering the school toward greater heights. 

The formal proceedings seamlessly transitioned into a captivating array of cultural performances. Students showcased their talent through graceful dances, mesmerizing music, and vibrant variety entertainment. Each performance was thoughtfully designed to enthral the audience and celebrate the diverse skills of the students.
