Synergy – Parents Sports Meet

Don Bosco English Medium School organized Synergy – Parents Sports Meet to promote family bonding, physical fitness, and healthy competition among the parents.

The exciting sports meet for the parents was inaugurated by the school Correspondent Very Rev. Dr. Leslie Clifford D’Souza.

The correspondent hoped that the sports meet will help in the parents coming together, collaborating, and co-operating with the teachers and the school community.

The Chief Guest of the day was Mr. Ummer Ismail, expressed his delight in being associated with the school, citing a long-standing rapport. He emphasized the significance of sports meet in a reconnecting link to the school community. He said that such events bring back memories of our youthful days! Concluding his address, he congratulated the school on hosting a successful sports meet fostering unity, togetherness, solidarity among parents, teachers, and students.

The parents’ sports meet featured a diverse range of exciting events carefully categorized by age groups to ensure inclusive participation.

The events included: Short sprints, Long jumps, Walk race, Nondi Race, Memory Test, balance race.

Parents’ remarkable accomplishments were celebrated and acknowledged through the presentation of medals and certificates symbolizing their hard work and sportsmanship.

Synergy 2024 successfully bridged the gap between parents, teachers, and school community.

The event promoted unity, sportsmanship, excitement, and healthy competition. We look forward to future initiatives that strengthen our school’s family bond.

Through their tireless dedication along with the Principal, Vice Principal, Teaching and Non-teaching Staff, Student volunteers played a pivotal role in making the events a resounding success.
