Vanmahotsava, the annual tree planting festival and ‘Green Day’ the Colour Green which represents prosperity and fertility was celebrated by the kindergarten students on July 5th, 2024. The main motive of the celebration was to reinforce the concept of green colour and to spread awareness among little learners to protect our nature. The assembly hall was decorated beautifully in green themed objects. The day began with a short prayer. The students of UKG spoke on the importance of ‘Green’ colour, sang songs and displayed objects in green colour. They also enacted a skit based on the importance of trees in our life. The Principal Rev. Fr. Rolwyn Joy Aranha expressed the importance of planting trees and encouraged the kids to plant saplings in their surroundings.
