Children’s Day

On November 14th, Don Bosco English Medium School in Shirva celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm in the school auditorium. The program began at 9:30 AM with a heartfelt prayer song, setting a positive tone for the event.
Senior teacher Mrs. Gretta Noronha emphasized the importance of Children’s Day, encouraging students to embrace and uphold its core values. The event featured various cultural performances by the teaching faculty, which not only delivered beautiful messages but also entertained the students, who thoroughly enjoyed watching their teachers perform on stage.
The school principal, Rev. Fr. Rolwyn Joy Aranha, delivered an inspiring message to the students during the program. He likened the students to different colors, emphasizing the importance of creating a beautiful life by incorporating these vibrant hues into their daily experiences. This uplifting message set a positive tone for the event and motivated the students to embrace their individuality and potential.
To enhance the day’s enjoyment, students were taken outside their classrooms to the school campus, where they participated in various outdoor games and fun activities, bringing joy and relaxation to their day.
Mrs. Deena Amathi served as the Master of Ceremony, while Mrs. Neha Kasote warmly welcomed everyone to the gathering. The event concluded with Mrs. Cynthia Pereira proposing a heartfelt vote of thanks, making it a memorable celebration for all involved.
