“The world is big enough to satisfy the needs of any person, but too small to satisfy human greediness.
”On 2nd October Gandhi Jayanthi and Lal Bahadur Shastri’s birthday was celebrated in the morning. The introductionand welcome was done by Sharlene Gia D Souza. The prayer service began with a prayer song, holy scriptures were read by Hershel Menezes Panchami and Faheem Khader. The Principal Rev. Fr Mahesh D Souza and the staff offered floral tributes to the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Jovita Rodrigues enlightened the students about the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi. Miss Sumithra sang a very meaningful bhajan. In his message the Principal emphasized on the values and weapons taught by Gandhi . He also urged the students to practice Swach Bharat Abhiyan by keeping our hearts, body, home, school, environment clean. He also conducted a small quiz on Mahatma Gandhi and prizes were given to the students and teachers.
Anusha Quadras proposed the Vote of thanks and Sharlene Gia compered the programme.
