PTA General Body Meeting

The first Parent – Teacher Association (PTA) meeting for Grades 1 to 10 was successfully conducted on 19th June, 2025 at the School Auditorium. The event witnessed active participation from parents emphasizing the importance of a strong home-school relationship.
The session commenced with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome from Mrs. Juliet Sequiera. The Principal, Rev Fr. Rolwyn Joy Aranha, emphasized the vital role of parent-teacher partnership in a child’s academic and personal development. A comprehensive overview of the curriculum, assessment methods, school policies, discipline policies and co-curricular activities was presented.
Key points discussed during the meeting included:
• Overview of class schedules.
• Curriculum plans and academic year expectation for the year, assessment patterns.
• School rules, discipline policies, uniform and code of conduct.
• Use of digital platforms for mid-day meal and bus facility.
• Upcoming events, club activities, ECA activities and sports and games opportunities.
• Use of digital platforms for communication between parents and teachers.
• Brief introduction to School Mobile App.
The election for the class representatives from every class was conducted. The elected class representatives for classes from 1 to 10 are as follows:

Correspondent, Very Rev. Dr Leslie Clifford Dsouza, thanked the parents for their presence in a large number. He elaborated on the facilities provided in the campus for the betterment of the students. He also emphasized the influence of the parents at home on the students’ language, daily routine and culture and requested the parents to set positive environment for the children at home. He asked the parents to love their children, teach discipline and teach values in their day to day life.
The interactive session that followed allowed parents to voice their suggestions and raise questions, which were received positively by the school team. The overall tone of the meeting was cooperative and forward-looking. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Anna Sowmya. Mrs Joyce Menezes the compered the programme.
