Patron’s Day Celebration

Don Bosco School celebrated its Patron’s Day with great joy and devotion on the feast day of St. John Bosco. The programme was organized in the school auditorium in a solemn and festive atmosphere.
Fr. Royal Vijay Fernandes graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while the School Correspondent Very. Rev. Dr. Lessely Clifford D’Souza presided over the programme as the President. The celebration began with a prayer invoking God’s blessings, followed by a warm welcome to the dignitaries.
In his presidential address, the School Correspondent highlighted the significance of Patron’s Day and emphasized the relevance of St. Don Bosco’s teachings in today’s world. The Chief Guest, Fr. Royal, in his inspiring speech, called upon the students to uphold the nine values of St. Don Bosco, such fear of God, do not waste time, focus, eat moderately, play, have good companionship, pay attention to school crricullum perseverance, prayer and service to others in their daily lives.
The cultural programme was the highlight of the celebration. Students presented songs, dances, and skit beautifully depicting the life, mission, and values of St. Don Bosco, which left a deep impression on the audience. The performances reflected the students’ talents and their understanding of the importance of the day.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, teachers, and students for making the celebration meaningful and memorable. The Patron’s Day celebration truly inspired everyone to follow the noble path shown by St. John Bosco.
