Christmas Celebration

Don Bosco School, Shirva, celebrated the joyous festival of Christmas with great enthusiasm and reverence on 23rd December. The campus was beautifully decorated, reflecting the spirit of love, peace, and joy that Christmas symbolizes.
The celebration began with melodious Christmas carols, filling the atmosphere with cheer and devotion. The students actively participated in a variety of performances, including a lively Christmas dance and a meaningful tableau depicting the true essence of Christmas. Through these performances, the message of hope, kindness, and selfless love was effectively conveyed.
Students also spoke about the significance of celebrating Christmas, highlighting values such as sharing, forgiveness, compassion, and caring for one another. Their thoughtful messages reminded everyone that Christmas is not just a festival, but a celebration of humanity, love, and goodwill.
The School Correspondent, Reverend Father Leslie Clifford D’Souza, addressed the gathering and delivered an inspiring Christmas message. He emphasized the importance of living the values taught by Jesus Christ and encouraged students to spread joy, peace, and love in their daily lives.
The Principal extended warm Christmas wishes to the students, staff, and parents, wishing them a joyful and blessed Christmas season. The teachers also joined in the celebration by singing of Christmas carols, adding to the festive spirit and unity of the occasion.
The celebration beautifully reflected the true values of Christmas—love, joy, peace, generosity, and togetherness. The day concluded on a joyful note, leaving everyone with hearts filled with gratitude and the message of Christmas alive in their minds.
Miss Shiny Mendonca welcomed the gathering. Rico, Ashneel, Michelle and Cian highlighted the importance of the Christmas. Sanvi D gave away the words of gratitude. Shallen Fernandes compered the programme.
