Farewell Ceremony of Grade 10

The Farewell Ceremony for the Grade 10 students of the 2025–26 batch was held on 28th January 2026 at the Don Bosco School Auditorium. The occasion was filled with mixed emotions as the school community gathered to bid a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing students.
The students were accorded a warm and affectionate welcome as they entered the auditorium, setting a gracious tone for the formal programme. The ceremony began with an invocation seeking divine blessings. Ms Prarthana Acharya and Mr Selwyn Rolen Fernandes of Grade 10 fondly shared their cherished memories of their years at Don Bosco, reminiscing about the experiences that shaped their school life. Mr Darren Lobo of Grade 9 delivered the farewell address on behalf of the junior students, expressing gratitude and best wishes to their seniors. On behalf of the teaching faculty, Mrs Irine Cardoza conveyed her heartfelt good wishes to the outgoing batch.
The formal programme was followed by a few engaging and lively games organized by the Grade 9 students, adding moments of joy and laughter to the celebration. The winners of the games were awarded prizes.
The Chief Guest, Mrs Juliet Gretta Noronha, addressed the students and encouraged them to uphold the values instilled in them at Don Bosco. The Correspondent, Very Rev Dr Leslie Clifford D’Souza, delivered the presidential address, motivating the students to remain focused on their goals while embracing life with confidence and joy. Mrs Anitha Priya D’Souza, PTA President, presented prizes to the game winners. Mementos were also presented to the students as a token of remembrance.
As a gesture of love, respect, and gratitude, the Grade 10 students handed over a contribution collected by the outgoing batch to the school. The farewell ceremony concluded on a pleasant note with a fellowship lunch.
