School Cabinet Election

The democratic spirit came alive at Don Bosco English Medium School, Shirva as students actively participated in the School Cabinet Election for the academic year 2025-26, held on 10^th June 2025. The process provided a platform for young leaders to step forward and engage in a fair and transparent election. The aim of the election was to cultivate leadership, responsibility and teamwork among students by allowing them to vote and elect their own student representatives.

Interested students filled their nomination for the post of SPL, ASPL, Health Minister, Cultural Minister, Sports Minister, Law Minister, Discipline Minister, Education Minister, Student Welfare Minister and Food Minister. Last date for the submission of nomination was 06/06/2025. Each candidate was given an opportunity to present their manifesto and address the student body during the campaign.

Students from Grade 5 to Grade 10 cast their votes on the day of the election. Voting was conducted through a secure digital platform, ensuring a smooth, confidential and eco-friendly process. With the use of digital system, the counting of the votes was done fairly and transparently. Results were generated instantly, leaving no room for errors or delays. The election was supervised by teachers and the Election Commissioner to ensure fairness.

The successful use of a digital voting system added a modern, efficient touch to this year’s election. We look forward to a year of meaningful contributions and dynamic leadership from our newly elected School Cabinet.
