Patron’s Day 2020

Don Bosco School celebrated the feast of St. John Bosco with great joy and enthusiasm. A special assembly was conducted for the students of K.G to grade X to celebrate the Patron’s Day on 31st of January.

The assembly began invoking the blessings of the Almighty through St. Don Bosco. Principal Ms. Myrtle L.F Lewis and the section Head Teachers garlanded the picture of St. John Bosco. Joyce Mathias of grade VIII gave a brief introduction on the life of Patron Saint Don Bosco, his dream, and his work with the young and his Salesian mission.

The School choir dedicated a hymn in ‘Praise of the Patron’. The students of grade VIII danced to song ‘Bosco fest’. A skit was an acted by the students to show how Don Bosco cared for the abandoned youth in the society. The Principal called upon the students to make a difference in their lives and lives of others by drawing inspirations by the life of St. Don Bosco. She also emphasized the students to grow up with tolerance and respect for all religions. She told the students to deal with those who are wrong with gentleness and kindness.

Ashel Mendonca of grade VI compered the assembly. Assembly concluded by singing the school Anthem by all the students.
