Inauguration of Junior Red Cross Wing

Inauguration of the Junior Red Cross Wing at Don Bosco English Medium School,Shirva was held on 11th March, 2022.

In view of inculcating human values among the students the school took the initiative to start the Junior Red Cross Wing as a club activity. The introduction to the program was done by Mrs.LidwinDsouza the school nurse, after which the correspondent Inaugurated JRC by unveiling the curtain, with the Principal, school management committee members and the newly appointed coordinators of JRCW, Mrs Sandya, the school counselor and Mrs LidwinDsouza, the school nurse.

The pledge was read out by RovitaMonis, the member of the JRCW.

The Correspondent in his speech elaborated the pledge and explained it in detail to the students about its motto ‘I Serve’ or ‘Serve Humanity’. He motivated the students to carry forward the legacy of JRCW by following its principles and objectives of human values first and foremost in their lives, families, school and in the society. 140 students took the initiative of joining JRCW in the present academic year.
