Investiture Ceremony

The solemn inauguration of the School Cabinet and Various Clubs for the academic year 2025–26 was held with grandeur and enthusiasm on Friday, 20th June 2025 in the school auditorium. The event aimed to formally induct the newly elected student leaders and to ignite a spirit of responsibility and leadership among them.
The programme commenced with a warm introduction, underscoring the importance of student leadership and the pivotal role of clubs in fostering the holistic development of learners. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as the newly elected leaders, in full uniform, marched proudly to the stage alongside the dignitaries, accompanied by the school band—symbolizing discipline, dignity, and a readiness to shoulder responsibility.
The ceremony began with a prayer service, invoking divine blessings for the wisdom and success of the student leaders. It was a moment of reverence and reflection, setting a sacred tone for the day’s proceedings.
Following the prayer, Tanvi U, the Master of Ceremony, gave a brief yet inspiring introduction to the event. Hrithvi of Grade 10 extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries, staff, and students present.
The much-awaited inauguration was marked by the symbolic unveiling of the year’s theme, “Leading with Pride.” This was followed by setting the “wheel of clubs” in motion—representing continuous learning, collaboration, and growth. The ambience was vibrant with a spirit of unity and purpose.
A key highlight of the event was the presentation of sashes and badges by the Correspondent of the school. This was followed by the Oath-Taking Ceremony, where the School Pupil Leader (SPL), Assistant SPL, Cabinet Ministers, House Captains, and Club Leaders solemnly took their oaths. They pledged to uphold the values of the institution, perform their duties with integrity, and serve as role models to their peers. The oath was administered by Prarthana Acharya of Grade 10.
The newly appointed SPL, Yashas Shivaprasad delivered a confident and promising speech, expressing gratitude for the trust placed in the student body and sharing a vision for a vibrant and disciplined school environment.
Our Principal, Rev. Fr. Rolwin Joy Aranha, delivered a motivational address, urging students to be honest, responsible, and strive for excellence in all areas of life. He emphasized the collaborative role of clubs in building confidence and encouraging talents beyond academics.
The Correspondent, Rev. Dr. Leslie Clifford D’Souza, addressed the gathering with words of praise for the school’s efforts in empowering young leaders. He encouraged students to lead with compassion, commitment, and courage. He also called on them to build a strong community and become the pride of Don Bosco. Additionally, he appreciated the faculty for their role in nurturing student leadership and highlighted the importance of character, honesty, and teamwork.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by the newly elected ASPL, Alani Danthi, who acknowledged the support and contributions of the management, staff, parents, and students in making the ceremony a grand success.
A meaningful skit on the theme A True Leader was presented by Grade 9 students.
Mrs. Anna Soumya and Ms. Juliet Sequeira announced the names of the newly appointed leaders. As a gesture of appreciation, the Correspondent presented flowers to the faculty for their guidance and support.
The School Cabinet Installation and Oath-Taking Ceremony stood as a proud testament to the school’s unwavering commitment to nurturing capable, responsible, and value-driven future leaders.
