New Principal takes charge

Don Bosco School had carved a name under the dynamic Principalship at Late Rev. Fr Mahesh DSouza who rendered his selfless service for 3½ years. His untimely journey to eternity left a void for the institution. To fill the vacant space a need for a new Principal was felt.
The Management (CESU) and the School Management Council appointed Ms. Myrtle L F Lewis as the new Principal of the school.
On 9-12-2019 during the school Assembly Msgr. Dr. Baptist Menezes cordially handed over the baton of Principalship to Ms. Myrtle L.F Lewis who served as the Principal of St. Marys English Med. School Udupi for 30 years before which she served at National English School, Rajaji Nagar, Bangalore for 5 years. With her vast knowledge and experience, she has taken over as the Principal of Don Bosco CBSE school. The Msgr. called upon the teachers and the students to work together following the 5 D’ of devotion, dedication, discipline, determination and diligence to fulfil the vision and mission of the school.
Addressing the teachers Ms. Myrtle Lewis, said that she was happy to take over the charge of Principal and would like to work hand in hand to fulfil the dreams of Late. Fr. Mahesh Dsouza . She also stressed the importance on training the students of grade X, as they are the first batch of students to appear the CBSE board examination.
The Msgr. Dr. Baptist Menezes thanked the Vice Principal Mrs. Irine Cardoza and all the teachers for their support and cooperation in running the school in the absence of the Principal.
The CESU Secretary Rev. Fr. Vincent Crasta the members of the school management Mr. Wilson D’souza , Mr. Melwyn Aranha, Mr Julian Rodrigues, Mr.Melwyn Dsouza, Mrs. Diana Saldanha, Mrs. Irine Rodrigues were present on the occasion.
