Children’s day celebration -2019

“Children are the gift of god let them fly with their thoughts”     

Childhood should be first and foremost time of enjoyment exploration and play.This day was celebrated in the school to give the rights of every child and enable them to grow up with virtues demanded by the society. Since the day is tribute to India’s first Prime Minister Chacha Nehru and his love to the children ,the potrait of Nehru was decorated with flowers.

After the prayer hymn the SPL,ASPL,School cabinet ministers ,class representatives beginning from the KG section upto class X were felicitated by the Father incharge Rev.Fr.Herald Pereira .The teacher incharge of the November month ,Mrs.Gretta Noronha highlighted the importance of the day and coincided the day to  universal  children’s day as the UNO in 1954 had accepted this day to be celebrated as the day for the  children of the entire world.The teachers of the school sang a song wishing the children happy children’s day. Prizes were given by  Rev.Fr.Herald Pereira to the students for the lucky game conducted on behalf of children’s day.     

Later  Rev.Fr.Herald Pereira in his message asked the children to be happiness of their family,beauty of the society and hope of the nation .He also mesmerised the students with an action song,The Vice Principal Mrs.Irene Cardoza called upon the students to grow up into  excellence by making use of the number of activities hosted by the school.Squadwise Rangoli and Wealth out of waste competition were conducted for the students during the noon time .Riya Mendonca of class VII welcomed the gathering,Darren Martis of class IV proposed the vote of thanks.K Safa of class X compered the program
