New Year 2021 Celebration

This new year be blessed with peace, love and joy. The heartfelt wishes with joy that never ends. Don Bosco English Medium School, Shirva came together with its management, the Principal, the teaching staff, the admin staff and the supportive staff to share the joy of New Year 2021.

On 2nd January 2021, in the beautifully decorated school, a meaningful celebration was held.

The celebration in school began with a meaningful and value based skit and beautiful dance presented by the which was much appreciated by the guests.

The Correspondent of the school Very Rev Fr Denis D’Sa in his message stressed on the importance of inculcating the spirit of gratefulness and to have the power of positivity. He appreciated the family spirit and team work of the entire staff under the leadership of the Principal, Miss Myrtle L.F. Lewis.

The New year wishing song sung by school choir highlighted the significance of new beginning. The guests cut the New year cake to enhance the joy of new year.

The chief guest of the day Msgr. Baptist Menezes, the Vicar General of Udupi Diocese, conveyed his blessings and best wishes to Don Bosco family. In his address he narrated a story related to humanity. He appreciated the activities of the school and requested all to move on with the same spirit.

The boundless joy of celebrating New Year ended with sumptuous meal sponsored by Msgr Baptist Menezes in appreciation for the good and team spirit of the staff. Mrs Shazia Begum, welcomed the gathering and Mrs Irene Quadras proposed the Vote of thanks. Mrs Philomena Barboza compeered the programme.
