The Patrons Day

“Run, jump and shout. But do not sin”. St John Bosco.
With love and gratefulness to God for His manifold blessings through St John Bosco, we the Bosconianscelebrated patron’s day on 31st January 2022 in the school premises. It’s our duty and responsibility to pay tribute to St Don Bosco who inspires children and youth.
The studentsin order to observe the patron Saint’s day meaningfully, put up a significant programme under the guidance of their teachers. The school choir sung the melodious prayer song praising God for the beautiful day. The Word of God from the Bible was read by Ms Sweedal. The students placed various prayers of the faithful.
A floral tribute was offered to the portrait of St Don Bosco by Vice-Principal, Section Co-ordinators, CPL, SPL and ASPL during which “All Hail St Don Bosco” song was sung. Miss AlishaSaldanha of class 8th evocatively presented the importance of the day. Several dances, skit on the life of St Don Bosco were being acted out.A wishing song presented by the children further more delighted the festivity.
In his message Rev Fr RolwinAranha, the coordinator of senior secondary section highlighted: To be good and service minded towards others. Through a melodious action song he called upon to be Alive, Alert, Awake and Enthusiastic. Patron is a person whom we imitate. He also gave a call to the teachers to be inspired by St Don Bosco to impart love in children and youth. A teacher must work to instillintellectual development, emotional development and spiritual development in children. In his message to the students he told to accept everything that comes on life, be genuine, realistic and truthful and promote contagion of happiness.
Ms Alveena Dsouza compered the programme and also welcomed the gathering. The programme came to an end by the vote of thanks proposed by Ms Jyothsna of class IX.
